Higgins Armory Museum is the only museum in the Western
Hemisphere devoted
to arms and armor. The museum's collection includes weapons from as early
as 4000 years ago (an early Egyptian axe) through to 18th century
weapons. The museum is located in Worcester, MA, USA.

The Higgins Armory Sword Guild is a group of staff and volunteers at
Higgins Armory Museum who are recreating the lost martial arts of the
Middle Ages and Renaissance. Using martial arts training manuals from the
Middle Ages, the Guild is relearning these lost fighting techniques and
demonstrates them to visitors at Higgins Armory Museum.

Hurstwic is a Viking Age living history society which studies and recreates
the way of life of northern Europeans in the Viking age. Hurstwic members
are researching Viking age fighting techniques with the Higgins Armory
Sword Guild, and Hurstwic members demonstrate these techniques to visitors
at Higgins Armory Museum.
